Overview

This is a post graduate course that will provide an extensive examination of topics in vascular disease. Specifically this year it is designed to provide an improved understanding in the evaluations, management and specific treatments of vascular problems with an aim to improve patient outcomes. It will provide a comprehensive review to the care of patients with vascular disease by addressing the pathogenesis, diagnosis, natural history and the effect of treatment options and how they can impact the outcome of this patient population. These topics will be presented by an outstanding faculty of 42 nationally recognized authorities. There will be interactive learning formats such as panel presentations, Q&A and didactic lectures incorporated into the course so that learners may increase their knowledge and competence, leading to improved performance in practice.

The target audience for this course is broad and includes vascular, general and cardiothoracic surgeons as well as interventional radiologists or cardiologists who wish to have more depth of understanding of the treatment options for patients with vascular disease. In addition, emergency medicine or interventionists may benefit from this course as it will address many aspects of vascular patient management issues that will improve their understanding of these disease states. Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Residents, and Fellows are welcome to attend.
