Jane Barg is a national board-certified health and wellness coach and a chef. She received her health coach training from Duke Integrative Medicine, Durham, NC, and is a member of the CHEF Coaching program faculty. In her private practice, Jane works with individuals and groups to help them make the changes needed to live healthier lives. She offers both culinary and health coaching programs in person and remotely. She is the founder of the Artful Palate catering company and has taught culinary classes in the Philadelphia region.

Janine Gilarde, RN, is a Certified Health and Wellness, Lifestyle Medicine and Culinary Coach. As the founder of Coaching for Healthy Living, Janine focuses on supporting individuals to achieve healthy and sustainable lifestyle habits using a holistic approach. In addition to her private practice, Janine provides Lifestyle coaching for the Breast Cancer Weight Loss Study at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Laura Klein, MBA, CHEF, Health Coach is the owner of Well Seasoned Coaching and faculty for the CHEF Coaching program. As a Culinary Coach, Laura focuses on the challenges of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in today’s busy world. Through a combination of nutrition education, healthy goal setting and home cooking skills Laura helps her clients achieve their wellness goals. Laura’s coaching credentials include certifications from the Coaches Training Institute, Wellcoaches, The American Council on Exercise and Genavix Wellness Corporation. Additionally Laura holds a certificate in culinary nutrition from the Natural Gourmet Institute and is a graduate of the CHEF Coaching program and the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts.

Edward Phillips, MD
Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Dr. Phillips is Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School and Whole Health Medical Director at the VA Boston Healthcare System. As Director of the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine (ILM) at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, he has directed 22 live CME programs and seven online CME modules in Lifestyle Medicine completed by over 15,000 clinicians from 115 countries. He is co-founder and co-director of the Lifestyle Medicine Education Collaborative (LMEd), dedicated to integrating Lifestyle Medicine into medical school curricula.

Dr. Rani Polak is the Founding Director of Culinary Healthcare Education Fundamentals (CHEF) Coaching at the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and the Center of Lifestyle Medicine at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Aviv, Israel, as well as an Assistant Professor, Part-time, at the Department of PM & R, Harvard Medical School. His current work focuses on culinary coaching, an innovative telemedicine approach which utilizes evidence-based medicine to help individuals and professionals to efficiently and cost-effectively improve nutrition through home cooking. His work has been featured in many media outlets including the Scientific American, the Herald Tribune, and USA Today.

Shirly Ramchandani (Shalu) is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine and is a Certified Health and Wellness coach. She completed her culinary coach training through the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine. Shalu has expertise in shared medical appointments emphasizing holistic lifestyle strategies.  After 19 years in a primary care practice in Boston, she established a lifestyle and weight management practice in Boston. In addition to this, Shalu also does integrative medicine consults at Benson Henry Institute at Mass General Hospital.
