Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Determine how mental health and primary care teams can work together to provide improved access to treatment for children, adults, and families
  • Define key principles of population-based mental health care
  • Incorporate integrated treatments for high-prevalent conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction
  • Evaluate different interventions used in integrated care settings, including behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, problem-solving, and cognitive-behavioral approaches
  • Evaluate the role of technology, women’s health programs, and mental health homes in integrated care

Target Audience

This course is intended for mental health and health practitioners as well as healthcare administrators, policy creators, addiction specialists, and others interested in improved healthcare through better clinical outcomes and carefully coordinated care.
